The long-running Need for Speed series races into new territory with this cross-platform, cross-generational release. Most Wanted is built upon many of the fan favorite features and modes from previous games in the series, including a forgiving yet credible physics engine, vehicles of real-life makes and models, and state-of-the-art graphics. As the previous Need for Speed: Underground, much of the game is styled around the illicit street racing scene, and as in earlier games such as Need for Speed III and Hot Pursuit 2, many of the Most Wanted's challenges involve not only getting from one place to another in the fastest time, but avoiding ambitious law enforcement officers (in souped-up vehicles of their own) all along the way.

Revenge is the name of the game, both figuratively and literally, in this follow-up to Criterion's breakthrough sports car racer, Burnout 3: Takedown (truly a "smash hit"). As in its immediate predecessor, offensive driving and spectacular crashes are the focus of Burnout: Revenge, and this fourth game in the series is designed to offer more avenues to destruction than any of its predecessors, by featuring a greater capacity for real-time damage and car deformation, multilevel track layouts that allow players to ram their opponents from below or above, as well as from behind or in front, and a new "revenge meter" that encourages players to pay back -- with interest -- those who wrong them on the roads. Wreckage-prone racing occurs all around the world in this edition of Burnout, in areas inspired by real-world cities, such as Detroit, Rome, and Tokyo. A number of online modes are included as well, for properly equipped gamers who are raring to test their destructive driving skills against other human opponents.

Two different time periods are captured in Driver: Parallel Lines, the fourth game in the cinematic, mission-based racing series. Players begin the game during the "Me Decade," the 1970s, as they guide a self-assured 18-year-old named TK in his bid to become the best getaway driver in New York City. Things do not go as planned, however, as TK is double-crossed and forced to spend the next 28 years behind bars. The action then moves ahead to 2006, with players engaging in modern-day chases, pick-up runs, heists, shootouts and more. Parallel Lines offers a choice of 80 drivable vehicles, from cars and bikes to buses and construction machines, with players able to fine-tune and customize their ride's look as the game progresses. Each vehicle will also experience real-time damage throughout over 35 missions set within the city that never sleeps. Players can once again leave their cars at any time to continue missions on foot, acquire an assortment of weapons, and interact with a cast of colorful characters. While exploring the city's streets, players may also engage in optional mini-games like destruction derbies and cops and robbers.

Penned by Crash Twinsanity writer Jordan Reicheck, best known for his work on Ren & Stimpy, Crash Tag Team Racing brings the trademark Crash Bandicoot humor to new levels. After being humiliated yet again by Crash Bandicoot at the end of Twinsanity, Dr. Neo Cortex returns to his evil scheming in his dilapidated Iceberg Lair. He hatches a sinister plan to challenge Crash to a seemingly friendly race competition with plans of crushing the hapless bandicoot under the ruins of the hazardous racetrack!In Crash Tag Team Racing, players can combine their car with an opponent's mid-race to make a super-car equipped with a powerful turret gun.
