A new "fashion designer" feature allows players to create their own custom outfits from a wide selection of mix-and-match components. The console version also uses the Sims 2 aspiration system, which allows players to define their character's "life goal," and makes it easy to find everyday activities that help work toward it.Other features are exclusive to the console versions of the game, such as personal interactions that blur out the background to concentrate exclusively on the involved sims, and a food creation system that challenges the players' creativity as well as the characters'. Characters can collect objects found all around the game world, from fruit off a tree to fish in an aquarium, and combine these as they see fit into a new meal. Catz is a pet simulation game that lets owners name, train and play with adorable kittens. Players adopt a customized kitten from one of thirteen different breeds. Gamers will earn their kitten's love and loyalty by remembering to feed, groom or play with it. Toys and accessories can be purchased for the kitten from the in-game store. Kittens can communicate with their owners through a variety realistic sounds effects including purring and different types of meows.

MechAssault makes its second appearance on Xbox, once again offering multiplayer gaming through the Xbox Live service. Players return to the 31st century to pilot heavily armed, 40-foot-tall walking assault vehicles in a war for the future of humankind. As the subtitle might suggest, MechAssault 2 is designed to offer a deeper, more engaging single-player campaign than the original, for "Lone Wolf" players. Online multiplayer gaming is fully supported as well however, with features to promote team strategy and competition with players all around the world, regardless of region. The MechAssault games are the Xbox offshoots of Microsoft's long-running MechWarrior series of PC games, based on the BattleTech universe of tabletop strategy games.

Cabela's Dangerous Hunts challenges players' hunting abilities with a selection of playable modes and features different animals, scenery, and challenges. Career Hunt mode, the primary game mode, progresses over time through two types of game play -- challenges and charters. The hunt begins during the fall and upon successful completion of the sequence, the season progresses to winter, where the player will be dealt a new list of challenges and charters to select from. Seasons continue to change each time a hunt is completed. A diverse array of hunting challenges present themselves to players, but they may also face unique challenges derived from previous hunting encounters. A unique player-hunter character will be created through each progression of challenges and charters. Each player's experience will differ from hunt to hunt. Additionally, gamers may select from two other hunting modes. Quick Hunt mode allows players to fashion a hunt to their specifications. In this mode, they single out an animal to hunt, decide which region and season to hunt in, select the gear they intend to use, and immediately embark on the hunt. In Action Zone mode, players face 12 levels of non-stop dangerous animal action while they navigate through the waypoints on each map.

Sims become stars in this platform-specific port of the popular PC sequel. From an isometric perspective similar to that of the original home computer version of The Sims, Game Boy Advance players guide their custom Sims 2 characters to tend to basic needs, interact with in-game objects, and make friends (or enemies) with other characters. Set in the extraterrestrial-friendly Strangetown, the game casts the player's character as the star of a hit "reality" television series, and the game's story line progresses from one episode to the next, according to how well the character can stick to the script.
