Once again it is party time for Nintendophiles, with this seventh console release in the genre-inspiring series. Mario Party 7 features six new game boards and more than 80 new mini-games, with support for as many as eight players. As in earlier versions of Mario Party, players take turns moving their characters across an interactive game board, where landing on certain spaces triggers mini-games in which one or more players compete. Mini-game winners are often rewarded with items that make it easier for them (or more difficult for their opponents) to move around the main game board.

Step into the world of Animal Crossing, where villagers live their everyday lives in time with an actual 24-hour clock. To become a part of the thriving village community, you'll get a job, buy a house and interact with other villagers, some of which can be controlled by friends and family. As you collect furnishings for your own house, check out what other villagers have collected for their houses. Smart Bomb is a fast-paced 3D puzzler, based around diffusing sophisticated AI bombs - hence the title. Sony Computer Entertainment's infamous escaped apes get schooled in their PlayStation Portable debut. This collection of more than 40 mini-games is designed as the handheld's first party game, and up to four PSP gamers with a copy of the UMD can compete together wirelessly. As fans know, the siren-helmeted simians have been entertaining gamers since they first escaped on the PlayStation in 1999, but why "Academy?" As the story goes, the series' recurring villain, Specter, is tired of having his plans for world domination continually fouled up by the chronic foolishness of his monkey minions, and so he has founded a university to train his apes to be more obedient (or at least less incompetent). Players progress in the game's main competition through a tic-tac-toe styled interface, in which they must win the mini-game to claim the square. Single players can revisit any of the mini-games they've beaten, as well for helpful practice or high-score pride.
